ABOUT US

Managing director and founding member, Gillian Gernetzky (nee Pinks), completed her Advanced Marketing Management diploma from the Institute of Marketing Management in 1995 and has well over twenty years’ experience in the public relations and communications industry. She has managed and directed clients such as Nedbank, the IMF, Unisa, the Green Building Council South Africa, Spec-Savers and Virgin Mobile, and has managed trade and tourism development in South Africa for the Government of Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing and the Australian Tourist Commission. 


She was editorial contributor to and editor of the GBCSA's 10 year commemorative book '10 Years of Inspiring Better Buildings’ launched October 2017, is a regular contributor to the GBCSA quarterly publication +IMPACT, and has written travel reviews for various travel and lifestyle publications. She has also managed projects as diverse as the worldwide launch of ‘Africa Leads’, a book published by the United Nations Global Compact and Unisa Press, the marketing for the World Bank/IMF Annual Meetings held in Dubai in 2003 and the launches of Atholl Square Shopping Centre and Design Quarter Design and Decor Centre.
